Hats & Barrel, Solva: Probably the Best Lamb Burger I Have Ever Tasted

Check this place out. For me it looked very, very nice in terms of decor, done to a high standard, and I am loving the original walls in there.

The staff greeted me, happy and smiling, came across very professional and could not do enough for you. There is a specials board next to the bar worth a look.

The weather was good so we sat outside, and the views from there are lovely.

What we had

I was with my friend Tommy. He went for the fish and chips and said it was one of the best he has ever had. His words, not mine: it blew his taste buds away.

I had the lamb burger. Look how it was presented. The chips alongside were so delicious, and the salad in it was properly fresh.

Now this is a big call from me, but that is probably the best lamb burger I have ever tasted. It was cooked to perfection and it was that good. I will be totally honest with you, I just did not want the food to end.

The verdict

A huge thank you to all the staff, because the service was exceptional, and a special thank you to the chef for cooking food like that for me and my friend.

Both of us, blown away with the whole experience.
